The first ever International Course on Perforator Flaps (ICPF) was organised in Gent, Belgium, 20 years ago in 1997, when perforator flap surgery was still in its pioneering phase. Perforator flap surgery was described as extravagant and exceptional in those days but it has now become the mainstream reconstructive technique for restoring defects throughout the body. What started as a small meeting among friends, has grown into a major international forum where colleagues share their new ideas in the field of perforator flap surgery.
mediAVentures is proud to support this meeting in all its technical aspects: presentation and speaker support, live case transmissions, simultaneously mixed and transmitted from 3 ORs with up to 7 medical and camera sources per OR, dynamic mixing on 3 screens at the venue alternated with talks, digital lectern and fully equipped moderator desks, decoration of the meeting room, a small digital poster area, ad hoc support for a small pre-meeting, audiovisual support of the cadaver workshop etc. Quite a long and challenging list but 200% our cup of tea!Ghent,Gent
